Sports Leagues

I think we’re all done with winter now. Thankfully, summer 2013 is right around the corner. And that means the return of the Bradford Beach Volleyball Leagues featuring divisions for 2’s, 4’s and 6’s for men, women, co-ed and collegiate players of all skill levels. Leagues matches will be held each Sunday through Thursday evening starting May 28^th and finishing on August 29^th. The Early Fall leagues will be held on Wednesday and Thursday evenings starting September 4^th and concluding October 13^th.

New for our Summer leagues, will be offering daytime leagues on Monday‘s and Wednesday’s. In addition, we will be adding an Adult Intro to Beach Volleyball class on Thursday evenings and Friday afternoons.

Space will be limited, so do not wait to register as or leagues filled rapidly.

2013 LEAGUE IMPROVEMENTS AND ADJUSTMENTS:

· All teams will play 2 matches per league night

· Additional staff added to manage leagues onsite

· No-Show Forfeit policy where teams removed from league after 2 No-Show incidents without 24hr prior notice to league official and opposing team.

· More league and division options on a nightly basis.

· Addition of daytime leagues.

· Addition of Men’s and Women’s Collegiate 2’s division.

· Addition of Adult Introduction to Beach Volleyball class.

· Mid-Season League Tournament (Summer League Only).

· League Playoff Tournament.

· Volley America National Championship qualification including airfare and lodging for Men’s Open 2’s, Women’s Open 2’s, Men’s A 2’s, Women’s A 2’s, Co-ed 4’s A and Thursday Co-ed 6’s divisions. All team players must be current members of Volley America to qualify.

· League prizes for all 1^st and 2^nd place teams in each division.

· 10% Early Registration Discount

· Bradford Beach Food, Beverage and Merchandise Team Promotion Cards

HOW TO REGISTER:

Registration for all leagues will open on March 8^th. To register, visit Bradford.bracketpal.com. Click on the league night and division of your choice. To receive the 10% Early Registration Discount, teams must be officially registered and fully paid by April 29^th. The final summer league registrations deadline is May 22^nd at 5pm.

For those divisions requiring a Volley America membership, the membership can be purchased at volleyamerica.com. Volley America is a national beach volleyball sanctioning body providing players with insurance, national ranking system, bonus prize pool and a national championship tournament program. Bradford Beach is a charter member along with East End Volleyball of New York and Great American Volleyball of New Jersey.

SUNDAY – 5pm to 8pm starting June 2nd

Co-ed 6’s. A, B and C level. $300.00/team.

MONDAY – 12pm to 2pm & 6pm to 8:30pm starting June 3rd

Co-ed 6’s. A, B and C level. $300.00/team/evening

Co-ed 6’s. A, B and C level. $200.00/team/daytime

Men’s 4’s. A, B and C level. $250.00/team

Women’s 4’s. A, B and C level. $250.00/team
